Wellspring was founded in 1982 as the first supportive housing provider for adults with serious mental illness in Kentucky. Wellspring operates 2 psychiatric crisis units, offers an array of services including outpatient therapy, case management, peer support, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), HUD supportive housing and HUD affordable housing, other agency owned housing with supportive services as well as providing supportive services to clients living in their own apartments. We served 1600 adults in 2022. Wellspring owns 140 units of affordable housing which offer varying levels of support from low to high. 

Wellspring promotes mental health recovery and supports individuals in building healthy and hopeful lives through behavioral health, housing and employment services.
