Melissa has secured over $40 million in federal, state, and private grant funding over the course of her career and is one of only 13 individuals in Kentucky who have earned the Grant Professionals Certification. She has served Hazard Community and Technical College for 13 years as Director of Grants and Contracts and is currently Dean of Institutional Effectiveness Planning and Research.
