Town Hall Meeting Recording: Kentucky Nonprofit Network hosts weekly Town Hall Meetings via Zoom to discuss updates related to COVID-19, relevant resources, advocacy initiatives, and relevant topics. On our Thursday, September 15 call, we were joined by CPA Christine Koenig, director with KNN member, DMLO; and Elizabeth McLain, Associate at DMLO. Christine and Elizabeth break down the federal legislation and executive order that may impact your nonprofit's payroll: the paid leave credits in the Families First Act; the employee retention tax credit in the CARES Act; and the White House’s executive order in August permitting payroll tax deferment.
