On the June 1 call: Juneteenth (June 19) is a federal holiday commemorating the end of African American slavery in the United States, emphasizing education and achievement. Carmen Marshall, Chief Equity Officer of Maryland Nonprofits, joins us to discuss Juneteenth -- the history and significance of the holiday, as well as why and how nonprofit leaders should recognize this holiday at their workplace.
