Weekly COVID-19 Virtual Town Hall Meetings: KNN hosts weekly calls via Zoom to discuss updates related to COVID-19, relevant resources, advocacy initiatives and relevant topics. Call in or join via video online each Thursday at 10:30 am (EDT). This week, in anticipation of the release of the next stimulus bill, we plan to discuss highlights of the bill, implications for nonprofits and action steps. We will also discuss where Kentucky stands with the 2020 Census, what's at stake, and the important role your nonprofit can play in increasing Kentucky's count. Tiffany Gourley-Carter with our partner, the National Council of Nonprofits, will also join us to share information on yesterday's memorandum from President Trump that calls for an unprecedented change to the constitutionally mandated count of every person living in the country - the exclusion of unauthorized immigrants from the numbers used to divide up seats in Congress among the states.
